Laura Curry, CPA NC Certificate # 18851

Laura Curry is the managing partner of the Firm now, with over 22 years of experience, after making Partner in January 1996. She started her public accounting experience in 1988, the same year she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BS in Accounting. She is the financial services, accounting and audit partner of the Firm. She has extensive audit experience with manufacturing, construction, and real estate clients. She reviews most of the accounting and audit engagements, does tax planning, and she works with managing most of the large clients. Laura is in charge of new client development and meets with new clients to assist in consulting with new business start ups, choice of entity selection, and proactive family tax planning. She assists in business succession planning and financial statement analysis. In 2000, she passed the Series 7 and Series 66 exams to become a registered investment advisor and became licensed in Life, Health and Long Term Care Insurance for the firm’s financial planning division. Laura was a member of BNI for four years and has served on the Board of several local organizations. Laura’s civic interests include coaching a girls’ basketball team for the YMCA.
